Meet Mrs. A, Mrs. B and Mrs C, three incredible volunteer women workers at CDKs. With their age and experience, they understand the struggles of rural pregnant women and the need for assistance during pregnancy. Their heartfelt testimonies reflect the impact of CDKs in transforming lives and providing much-needed support.

“It is my pleasure helping others when they are in need but after all our dreams are seized by the military, I am living with empty hands. Luckily, I was invited by to join in CDK project and I have joined as volunteer worker since the last three months. It is not other but it is my dreams that comes to fulfil in CDK project. Women Empowering Women: Tea Break with a Difference: During their daily tea break, our dedicated CDKs volunteer team creates unique handcrafted items, showcasing the power and resilience of women. We take pride in our locally- made creations, which exemplify the spirit of empowerment.
Mass Prayer Meeting: Uniting in Hope: Every Friday, we come together in prayer to uplift pregnant women in IDP camps.
We also extend our gratitude to our donors and partners, whose support enables us to continue this vital work.
CDK: A Glimpse of Hope for Women
Clean Delivery Kits (CDK), are a lifeline for pregnant women in crisis. These kits contain essential supplies for childbirth, such as soap, gloves, clamps, clean clothes sheets, napkins, hat, a blade to cut the umbilical cord and bag etc. They also provide education on childbirth and hygiene during pregnancy and delivering.
For women who have been displaced by conflict or who live in remote areas, CDKs can be the difference between life and death. They can help to prevent infections and complications, and they can give women the confidence to give birth safely. CDK is especially important for women in crisis situations. The military coup has created a humanitarian crisis, and many pregnant women are struggling to access essential healthcare. CDK provides these women with the resources they need to give birth safely and to care for their babies.
In addition to providing physical supplies, CDK also
provides emotional support to women. The kits
come with a booklet that includes information on
childbirth and how to use CDK. They help women to feel valued and capable, and they give them the tools they need to take control of their own health and the health of their babies. CDK is a glimmer of hope for women in the midst of a crisis.
